The location of this place was fantastic! It was close to the Downs, Beachy Head, and the River Cuckmere walks, which made exploring the area a breeze. The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the gardens and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The duvet was crisp and airy, and the pillows were amazing. The bathroom was spotless and well-designed, although a bit noisy with the macerator. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were top-notch.

There were a few things that could have been better. there was quite a bit of noise coming from the kitchen, which was a bit disruptive.

there was a constant noise from a loud refrigerator compressor under our room, which made for an appalling first night's sleep. Although the owner turned off the fridges the following night, they had to be turned on early in the morning, preventing us from having a lie-in.

Perfect central location for exploring the beautiful Seven Sisters Park and nearby towns like Alfriston. Complimentary car park is convenient. Excellent breakfast and cute room right next to the park.

The lack of a comfortable atmosphere and the noise from the adjacent cafe can be a downside for some guests.

Emma and her team were incredibly accommodating, providing everything we needed for our furry friend and giving us tips on beautiful walks in the surrounding area. The location was stunning, with easy access to Eastbourne via the nearby bus stops. The food was fantastic, and they even offered us breakfast past check out time when I fell ill. The staff were welcoming and understanding, and the rooms were well-appointed with a farmhouse feel. a wonderful experience!
